| Freshman Year Twilight Mystery Quilt Where Bella Rests Her Head Have you noticed in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer Bella has 4 primary houses that she sleeps in? Rest is something that she definitely needs, and despite Edward’s inability to sleep, I think he would like a gal who gets a little beauty sleep every now and then. Wouldn’t want Bella to get cranky! I wanted us to remember all those great Bella bedroom scenes from the movie in our Freshman Year here. He watched her sleep! (swoon) What a man. At least he doesn’t snore. This is your first section of the quilt and it is meant to represent the circle of places Bella roams between. (Bella’s house at top, Jacob’s at the res. to the right, the Cullen house at bottom, and a special little stone cottage that shows up in Breaking Dawn to your left) Before you get all excited at one omission, let me tell you this: we will deal with the Isle of Esme later ! |

| Sophomore Year Twilight Mystery Quilt Forks Forest I absolutely love the scenery in the movie Twilight. Those forests are just something to behold. I love that Stephenie Meyer actually went on a road trip to that area to take it all in. The imagery in the books of it being cold, and wet, and constantly dreary just make me want to curl up with the series all over again whenever it gets rainy in my southeast corner of the US. For this section of your quilt, we are going to remember all those trees, the forest scene where Bella says “I know what you are.” ,the meadow scene, and anything that has to do with the natural beauty of Forks. I just didn’t think we could do a quilt without giving it some justice We are making two big trees with hollows you could walk through. Pretty neat, huh? (and oh-just wait until the New Moon movie comes out and we see that pivotal scene in the forest when Edward leaves her---are you crying already???) |
